497, 504, 517 (Pair) – Official Dept of Public Works Cover from Manila to Poland cancelled with Apr 1, 1948 Manila CDS. Returned for 12c additional postage where Sc#517 pair was added and tied with UN Children Appeal Slogan cancel (BPS-075). Boxed ‘Additional Postage Subsequently Paid’ handstamp applied. Odd minor corner bends, otherwise generally fine. Interesting usage and handstamps.

509, 522, 523 (Pair) – Commercial Cover from IRO Evacuees Camp in Guiuan, Samar to San Francisco, USA. Tied with Dec 15, 1949 Guiuan cancels. Blue round IRO handstamp dates Dec 13, 1949 on front. Very scarce and seldom offered.

554 – Commercial cover from Malaybalay, Bukidnon to Missouri, USA tied with 1952 Duplex cancel. Handstamp ‘Forwarded – T [3] centimes’ handstamp with 3c US Postage Due stamp along side. Small cut on top left otherwise a nice looking cover. Original letter enclosed. Nice Postage Due usage.
