Edifil 40, 49, 53 – Mint (OG, HR). 1892-1895 Telegraph issues all overprinted ‘Ministerio de Ultramar / Muestras’ (Peterson Type 3). Odd blunt perf common on these issues. Generally good to fine condition.

Documentary Stamped Paper – 1858 (19 Feb) issued at Pangil, Laguna, Class Four Pobres, 5 cuartos. A document used I the experimental Cattle Program. It is a dual use document -  a will for Land and Livestock and a Certificate of Transfer for  a Water Buffalo valued at Five Pesos. Folded on left side and wrinkling along top left section. Also folded in centre to reduce overall height of document for presentation purposes. Generally fine for this type of document.

Certificate of Ownership – 1868 (27 Dec) 1 Real Certificate issued at Penaranda, Nueva Ecija. Corresponding official crown cancel handstamp on bottom right. Stated to be the earliest reported use of Certificate of Ownership document and the only Reported Certificate used during the reign of Queen Isabella II. Vertical fold marks. Small thin section on left margin, otherwise generally fine for this period. Very scarce.

Certificate of Transfer – 1873 (14 Jan) 1 Real Certificate issued at Angat, Bulacan. Corresponding official crown cancel handstamp on bottom right. Stated to be the earliest reported use of Certificate of Transfer. Minor tear on left margin and odd tone spots. Vertical filing crease. Generally fine. Scarce document.

Certificate of Transfer – 1887 (13 Oct) Revenue Stamped Paper Replacment Certificate of Transfer with Postage Stamp issued at San Rafael, Bulacan. The postage stamps paid the difference between the Peso Mexican and the Peso Fuerte. Vertical filing crease and slightly rough on right and bottom edges. Odd tone spots and slight foxing, common for this period. Very nice looking document.

W-27 – 1891 (8 May) Document from the Governor General affixed with 1p Fiscal stamp tied with official cancel. Black handstamp seal on front. Folded on top and bottom. Minor toning mainly on left edge, with odd spots on document. Very clean for this period and in generally sound and good condition. Scarce.

W-791.2b – 1906 (16 Mar) 1p adhesive Cattle Stamp affixed to a Certificate of Transfer issued at San Pedro, Makati, Rizal. Stamp tied with municipal cancel. Paperclip break on top caused by acid erosion. Minor tear on bottom right side. Foxing and odd toning but overall, a nice looking document.

Minor edge dings otherwise generally fine document for this period. Stated to be the Earliest Date Recorded for this issue.

W-712, W-714 – 1907 (11 Jul) Letter from the Treasurer to three brothers to show their cedulas (Residence Certification) to the Tresurer’s Office. Front with W-714 tied with manuscript date cancel. Reverse has W-712 also with manuscript cancel. States that the brothers need to pay a fine of P12.00. Folded in centre with odd faults along edges and on top right corner. Embossed Seal on front.

Burial Permit – 1909 (16 May) Municipal Burial Permit with Office Tax Receipt (rebacked) for a municipal fee of 50 centavos, separate from burial costs and fine. Some toning noted, common for material from this period. Odd scuff marks on top part of Burial Permit. Nice combination.

Four Internal Revenue Documentary stamps affixed to pay the 38c fee. Folded horizontally and vertically. Minor edge faults and small bottom tear, otherwise a very striking document.

La Ilustracion Filipina – Front and Second pages of four different La Ilustracion Filipina Manila Newspapers, issued between 1893 and 1894. Very flimsy and fragile. Tears, dings, toning, and other minor faults noted. Will need to be handled with care to prevent further damage. Interesting and not seen before.
