Scott 76 (x2), 78 (x2), 87 (x32) – Telegraph Receipt dated May 19, 1884 from Manila to Shanghai, China. 38 postage stamps totalling 6 pesos, 49 centimos. Rough edges common for these receipts. Lovely in that this is using only postal issues. Scarce as such.

Signed on front and annoted on reverse and signed by the Director, Madrid, 11 October 1893. Vertical crease between row 8 and 9. A rare and excellent exhibition piece.

W-1521 (x2), W-1522 (x4), W-1523 – Used. Customs stamps. Three pairs with left and right halves. Blue or Black control numbers, roulette, each with a series letter in the design (A to F). 1p Series D in green; 2p Series F in Red and Carmine; 5p Series B in brown. Interesting lot.

L480 – Class 4 Official 5-cuartos Documentary Stamped Paper issued at Manila on 30 Jan 1857. Appointing Fernando de Norzagaray as the Governor General with directions to investigate the rustling problems on the Islands. Water stains on bottom of document, and odd minor toning, expected for these documents. Very interesting piece of history.

L481 – Class 4 Pobres 5-cuartos Documentary Stamped Paper issued at Pangil, Laguna on 19 Feb 1858. Document used in the experimental Cattle Program. This is a dual usage document being a will for Land and Live Stock and a certificate of Transfer for a Water Buffalo value at 5p. Creasing on top section not affecting overall appearance.

L547 / W-532 – Class 3 Alfonso XII 250m 1882-1883 Paper Sellado. Double page, two with imprints (pages 1 and 3). W-532 Recibos y Cuentas stamp tied with Provincial Crown Cancel. Vertical fold on left and normal creasing noted. Odd toning also present common for this period. Lovely piece.

1966 Christmas Seal – Single Die Proof. Sheet measures 20mm x 25mm with stamp on top showing guide lines. Colour guide in middle and at bottom. Two filing hole punches on top. Minor paper scraping on right and very minor toning noted mainly around edges. Very minor creasing noted and expected due to paper size. Very striking and scarce proof for this issue.
