ALKAN Cover – 6c stamp (Type 2) on Long Cover addressed to New Haven, Connecticut, tied with ‘Manila – March 19, 1934’ CDS and ‘Tenth Far Eastern Championship Games’ Slogan cancel. Lower bar measuring 17.9mm. Vertical filing crease in middle, and minor tear on left - not affecting the stamp. This overprint was used by the C.L. Alkan Company after merging with Heackock’s in 1931.
